NEW YORK (AP) — A Columbia University graduate scholar was fatally stabbed and one other man was wounded close to the college’s higher Manhattan campus, authorities stated Friday.
The stabbing suspect was arrested in Central Park whereas menacing a person with a knife, police stated in a news launch.
The assaults began simply earlier than 11 p.m. Thursday when Davide Giri, 30, was stabbed in the abdomen on Amsterdam Avenue close to the Columbia campus, authorities stated. He was taken to a close-by hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless.
