ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Paul police arrested a person after they are saying he referred to as Ramsey County dispatchers early Tuesday to report that he had killed his spouse.
The Emergency Communications Center obtained the decision about 3 a.m. from the 46-year-old man who stated he had fatally shot his spouse.
Police discovered him outdoors of the Ramsey County Law Enforcement Center. He was taken into custody with out incident and booked into jail on suspicion of murder.
While investigators had been taking the suspect into custody, officers went to the person’s house and located his spouse, a lady in her 40s, deceased.
Investigators are working to find out a motive from the crime and the circumstances that led to the lady’s dying.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an post-mortem to find out the lady’s actual reason behind dying and positively establish her.
Police say the murder is the thirtieth within the metropolis this 12 months.
