CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — An investigation continues into the demise of a Linn County Jail inmate.
The Cedar Rapids Gazette studies that 39-year-old Marshall Mosby of Dubuque died Friday evening after complaining of chest pains. An post-mortem is deliberate.
Mosby was being held in a federal drug case. Linn County Sheriff Brian Gardner stated inmates in a dormitory-style cell notified authorities round 9 p.m. Friday that Mosby wanted medical consideration.
Staff initiated CPR and different measures to try to save him till EMTs arrived. Gardner stated jail workers had final checked on Mosby about quarter-hour earlier than authorities have been alerted.
