PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) — A park on the Mississippi coast is getting a facelift.
WLOX-TV experiences that development started this week at Lighthouse Park beneath the Singing River Bridge in Pascagoula.
Changes embrace enhancements to the parking space, drainage and landscaping. Pickleball courts and bench swings are additionally being added, Pascagoula’s public info officer Katarina Scott advised the tv station.
The $450,000 growth is being completed via Tidelands Trust Fund, cash derived from the lease of tidelands and submerged lands administered by the Secretary of State’s Office and the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.
