GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — An investigation is underway after an individual died at an amusement park within the western Colorado city of Glenwood Springs.
Few particulars have been launched, however Suzanne Emery with the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park says “an incident” occurred Sunday night on the Haunted Mine Drop trip that precipitated the demise. The Post Independent stories the park might be closed Monday and Tuesday.
“Out of respect and concern for all events concerned, we is not going to have additional remark till all particulars have been confirmed. Our ideas and prayers exit to all concerned,” Emery stated in a news launch.
The Haunted Mine Drop, which opened in July 2017, is billed as the primary drop trip to go underground, plunging riders 110 toes (33 meters) within Iron Mountain. Park guests are required to signal a launch of legal responsibility waiver earlier than going on any rides or sights.
