Crytek has published a new video from the Crysis Remastered Trilogy to compare the Xbox 360 versions of the three chapters with those for Xbox Series X. Obviously the step forward is considerable, both from the point of view of resolution and from that of some graphic details, in particular those related to the lighting system. However, it must be said that even the originals hold up a lot, despite the years that have passed. After all, Crytek has always represented excellence in the field of graphics.
It should also be remembered that the Xbox 360 versions of Crysis were certainly not the best. The PC versions they were vastly superior to those consoles graphically, with Crysis 2 taking advantage of some features of DirectX 11 (state of the art at the time) and Crysis 3 looking like a next-generation title compared to the console counterpart.
So, if you originally played Cyrisis on console, expect a big step forward, but if you played them on PC the leap will certainly be less. The video is however indicative of the work that has been done to update the three titles.
