Bethesda has announced that the PS5 e Xbox Series X | S from The Elder Scrolls Online will receive a graphic upgrade, which includes dynamic resolution and a new HDR mode.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X | S of the popular MMO are available from June 15, with the upgrade to the next-gen versions free for owners of the game on PS4 and Xbox One.
On the occasion of the launch of the Waking Flame DLC, set for August 23, the developers will introduce the dynamic resolution for the performance mode, thus ensuring a resolution ranging from 1080p and 2160p while maintaining the granite framerate at 60fps on Xbox Series X and PS5 even in the most hectic situations. On Series, however, the resolution will remain at 1080p.
Additionally, all consoles, except PS4 and Xbox One, will receive one new HDR mode, named “Default”. The previous one, criticized by some players as apparently too invasive, will remain available under the name of “Vibrant”.
PC gamers will also be happy with a new multi-threaded render setting that should improve the framerate for CPU-limited configurations.
Staying at Bethesda, the software house could be working on new remakes and remasters.
