Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition, a polished version of Ubisoft’s famous stand-alone expansion, could come up PS5 e Xbox Series X | S, according to information that appeared in the last few hours on the website of the American classification body ESRB.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon landed on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC way back in 2013 as a spin-off of Far Cry 3. The stand-alone expansion at the time achieved great success thanks to the setting inspired by the sci-fi films of the years. ’80, lots of humor and bullets at will. Later the game was re-released in the form of “Classic Edition“for PS4 and Xbox One in 2018.
At the moment the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon Classic Edition have not been confirmed by Ubisoft. However, the ESRB classification is usually a fairly important clue. Not only that, we know that Blood Dragon will be part of the content of the Season Pass of Far Cry 6. At the time it was thought that they were simply the versions for old-gen consoles, usable on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S through backwards compatibility. A version created ad hoc should guarantee better performance and maybe some graft to the graphics sector or, in the case of PS5, support for Dualsense.
Staying on the subject, Ubisoft has confirmed that Far Cry 6 will only run in 4K and 60FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, but on PS4 and Xbox One it will be solid.
