Oxenfree 2 Lost Signals had been announced for PC and Nintendo Switch, but now comes the confirmation that this narrative adventure will also be available on PS4 e PS5. The announcement took place via PS Blog, on which the protagonist of the game was also presented: Riley Poverly.
Adam Hines, co-founder of Night School Studio and lead writer of Oxenfree, explains that – unlike the first chapter in which the protagonists were young and had to decide who they wanted to become – Riley he is later in life and is now grappling with the “repercussions of his post-adolescence”. The question for her is, “Did she become who she really wanted to be?”
We are told that the hero of Oxenfree 2 was “born and raised in Camena by a veteran father and absent mother, Riley walked away from home at the earliest opportunity, bouncing between cities and different jobs in an attempt to give direction to her life. poetry is the setting of the game and something strange is happening: inexplicable electromagnetic waves are interfering with the electrical and radio equipment present in the small coastal town. TVs turn on and off by themselves. The planes have lost their radar. Stations are unable to transmit through static signals. A research team from a nearby college was tasked with studying the phenomena and pinpointing the source of this interference. Riley’s new job as a research assistant is to do the dirty work in the field: placing radio transmitters in specific areas and reporting the data collected by those transmitters. At a certain point, however, something strange happens. Thing? We will have to find out in the game.
